Every classroom is staffed by a team of caring, observant teachers well versed in early childhood development and developmentally appropriate practice. All teams include one or two head teachers who hold a minimum of a CDA ( Child Development Associate certificate in early childhood) up to a BA or MA in Early Childhood, Education and/or Special Education. Every team also includes one or two assistant teachers who provide additional student and program support under the guidance of their head teacher.
Teams attend weekly planning meetings, monthly staff meeting and monthly age level meetings to assure that all of our classes are in communication as to how our program addresses the needs of our children.Teachers and assistant teachers attend workshops, seminars and conferences throughout the year to insure that they are up to date in their practice and able to provide the highest quality progam to every child.
All staff meets and exceeds the staffing requirements established by the state of CT. All are fingerprinted upon employment. All are certified in CPR, Pediatric First Aid, and administration of medications.
